Diamond Pynk

Diamond Pynk, a proud Houston native grew up singing in the church and traveling around with her grandmother’s quartet group. She became an immediate fan of Tina Turner at the age of 4 after hearing her sing and seeing her dance. From that point on, she vowed to become an entertainer.

Diamond’s favorite artists growing up....

Tina Turner, Rihanna, Kim Burrell, and her grandmother, Gladys.

Life is not just about making music for Diamond Pynk. Her name is

in homage to her late-grandmother, affectionately called “Nanny,”

who courageously battled breast cancer. It was Nanny that called

Diamond out in church and coaxed her into her first solo

performance at the age of 13. It was also Nanny who inspired her

family to create 1LessStress,Inc., an organization in support of

breast cancer champions and awareness. The organization is

Diamond’s preferred charity partner.
